‘Tis the season for soups and chilis. The weather is getting cooler and we’re just as busy as ever with the approaching holiday season. Jar meals to the rescue!
Thrive Life just announced two new seasonal products: freeze-dried sweet potatoes and freeze-dried sweetened cranberries.
Inspired by a mentor, I created a brand new jar meal. Black Bean and Sweet Potato Chili. It’s completely vegetarian but you can always add some beef or chicken to it, if you’d like. I love, too, how perfectly seasonal it looks in the jar. It’s a showstopper and would make a lovely gift.
BLACK BEAN & SWEET POTATO CHILI JAR MEAL RECIPE
This recipe includes: instant black beans: no more soaking dry beans over night and cooking all day, freeze-dried sweet potatoes, onions, tomato dices and green chili peppers; plus other spices including cinnamon. It’s a warm and flavorful chili.
THE DINNER HACK EVERYONE NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT: FREEZE-DRIED JAR MEALS
Jar meals are amazing because it’s a one-stop meal. A dinner hack, if you will. In this case, add the contents of the jar to five cups of water and simmer for 15-20 mins. Boom! Done. Garnish with fresh avocado, sour cream and a spritz of lime juice.
One of the benefits of being a preferred customer with me, is that I provide at least one jar meal recipe and assembly instructions per month, along with grocery list of items needed from your very own Thrive Life grocery store.
