Joyfully Prepared is a podcast that encourages the listener to “go and do” with simple stories and activities which will help you: save money, develop a practical and working pantry, develop self-reliant skills, and think more abundantly.

Your host, Wendi Bergin, is a stay-at-home/homeschooling mom who has “preparedness” in her DNA. She’ll share stories from her experiences in becoming more self-reliant as she raised seven children on a very limited budget. You’ll learn about and laugh with her as she recounts her mistakes with open honesty and much gratitude.

Wendi will be your biggest cheerleader as you joyfully make strides towards a more abundant and prepared home.

LONG BIO

Wendi Bergin is a regular mom with a husband, a bunch of kids, and some dogs and is the founder of Joyfully Prepared, a business dedicated to teaching overwhelmed moms of challenging teens how to develop homesteading skills and create a home full of peace and calm so their families can flourish!

She’s rolled down the mountain of accomplishment so many times that she has  skinned knees, grass in her teeth, and sticks in her hair.  All of these mistakes have actually allowed her to become more confident in her knowledge and skills.

She’s eager to learn and strive to create a space where people want to learn.  She’s not perfect. In fact, someone once described her as the “queen of preparedness, but normal without scaring people.”

Whether it’s canning, gardening, emergency preparedness, or anything else—she teaches others to feel confident while learning it.
